A Platform for Connection, Growth, and Retention

At CDM, we recognise the value of diversity in our industry, and we’re committed to doing something about it. That’s why our Women in IT (WIT) Program exists: to support the women already working in IT and to inspire the next generation to join and thrive.

Through this ongoing program, we create space for honest, empowering, and practical conversations that help women navigate the unique challenges of the tech sector and succeed.

A Program That’s Making a Difference

Our WIT initiative is built around a regular series of events where women in IT come together to:

  • Share their experiences, both the challenges and the triumphs

  • Offer insights and strategies for navigating complex or male-dominated environments

  • Build a network of support, mentoring, and collaboration

These forums are open, respectful, and constructive. They are designed to create connection, spark new thinking, and promote resilience among professionals navigating fast-paced, evolving careers in technology.

Why This Matters

The IT sector still faces issues with gender diversity, and while progress is being made, many women leave the industry due to lack of support, isolation, or barriers to advancement. Our program aims to:

  • Retain women currently working in IT by offering consistent support, encouragement, and peer connection

  • Attract new women into IT by sharing authentic stories of success, innovation, and impact from those already thriving in the field

We know that when women feel heard, respected, and empowered, they are more likely to stay and to lead. That’s the core of what we do.

A Space That Inspires

Every event is intentionally held in a relaxed, welcoming setting, outside the usual workplace. The focus is on comfort, connection, and open dialogue, because we believe people are more willing to share and grow in environments where they feel safe and valued.

These sessions are enriched by incredible guest speakers successful women in technology and leadership roles who generously share their stories and lessons. From innovation and cybersecurity to purpose-driven entrepreneurship, the speakers show what’s possible when women in IT are empowered to lead.

The Journey So Far

We’re proud of the momentum this program has gained and the community it continues to foster. Women have told us how much it means to speak freely, connect with others facing similar challenges, and feel like they’re part of something that truly values them.

As we grow the program, we’re focused on keeping it real, relevant, and results-driven.
